A few ways Trump has been 'acting sharper' in meetings

Ever since Trump fired Anthony Scaramucci and installed John Kelly as the new chief of staff, he has, apparently, been "acting sharper in meetings and even rattling off stats."

How exactly has Trump been acting smarter, though? We asked our very realWhite House insider to elaborate on this claim, and here is what we found out:

He will often comment that "some of the oceans are very big."

"Whenever someone is talking to Mr. Trump, he will often stop them and loudly muse about 'how big some of the oceans are,'" says our unnamed White House insider.

He will pull out a calculator and fiddle around with it for awhile before remarking softly, "this is a calculator."

According to our source, "he will pull out a calculator and press buttons for an extended period of time."

When somebody says a number in a meeting he will immediately chime in with a larger number.

"He expects you to applaud when he does this, and we always do," said our inside source.

His desktop computer always has a Google image search of "art" up on the screen.

He starts every meeting by counting the number of chairs in the room and then announcing how many chairs there are.

"But if there are more than 15 chairs he will stop counting and simply say 'There are more than 15 chairs,'" said our insider.

Whenever there is a brief silence, he will recite a stat from Wade Boggs' 1989 batting line, which he has written down on a piece of paper.

"In the middle of a foreign diplomacy meeting Mr. Trump loudly said that Wade Boggs had an .879 OPS in 1989. We all politely nodded and the meeting continued," said our real source.

He will put on a cartoon on the TV and say, "This is childish. This is buffoonery. etc."

"Last week, he put on the cartoon Spongebob Squarepantsand loudly and repeatedly condemned it as 'childish nonsense' for two and a half hours," our source said.
