Why we like it

It may not be the best beauty tech for ongoing breakouts, but the Bye Acne device could be a great companion for those looking for convenient spot treatment. It uses red and blue light therapy to reduce inflammation from mild to moderate acne in just a couple of minutes. Mashable's Bethany Allard tested it firsthand and found that it would work best for "someone who gets a nasty pimple or two regularly and has the cash to spare." It may not have wowed us like the skincare wand, but we're more inclined to recommend it while it's on sale for just $48.30 (reg. $69).

The user-friendly design makes skin therapy sessions pretty easy and convenient. Just pop the mask onto your face, select red (anti-aging) or blue (anti-acne) light therapy, and relax for 10 minutes. For noticeable results in the first month, Solawave recommends 10-minute sessions per day for at least three days per week.
