Samsung's Galaxy is getting ready to expand.
Back in July, Samsung confirmed it would hold a big announcement event in the form of a new Galaxy Unpacked livestream in August. Well, August is here now, so that means you need to put this new Unpacked stream on your calendar and figure out how to watch it.
Great news: It’s easy!
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 will take place on Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT. You can watch it on:
Samsung’s website
Samsung Newsroom
Samsung’s YouTube channel
Samsung's metaverse space, 837X
We don’t know for sure yet what Samsung plans on showing, but all signs indicate at least one new foldable device. A recent leakpointed to the existence of follow-ups to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 3and Z Flip 3phones. Additionally, the official marketing text on Samsung’s website in advance of the event reads “A new way to flex is coming.”
Yeah, the hint isn’t subtle.
This event is taking place almost exactly one year to the day since the Unpacked eventwhere those two older foldables were unveiled. Samsung also showed off new additions to its Galaxy Watchand Galaxy Budslines at the same stream, so updates to those devices could show up at the new Unpacked, as well.
The only other prediction we can make right now is that, as always with foldables, don’t be surprised if the price tags are pretty hefty.
